I booked a monthly stay and honestly it worked out well. Good location, easy parking, and the room had a fridge and microwave which helped a lot. Great option if you’re staying long-term in Orangeburg.

My experience at Orangeburg Inn was excellent. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. The staff was attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The location is convenient, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other options in the area. Whether you’re passing through or staying a few days, this inn is a great choice for comfort and value

For $61 including taxes/fees, I didn't expect much & you definitely get what you pay for in this instance. The place was advertised as "recently refurbished". The room was fairly clean, no bugs & had a mini-fridge. Now for the rest. No wifi. No pets & if caught it's a $250 charge. No coffee maker. No breakfast (for $61 I didn't expect one though). The TV only got about 10 channels but all but a couple were snowy & unwatchable. No premium channels. Holes in wall where pictures used to be. The toilet paper was like cardboard & when you pulled on the roll, the entire flush mounted holder pulled out of the plaster. The tub had peeling paint. There wasn’t any soap of any type. We had to use my wife’s shampoo to wash our hands. The Lobby did look refurbished. What was amazing was an entire wall of big flat screen CCTV monitors showing 60, yes 60, live feeds all around the building, walkways, lobby, halls, etc. I bet Walmart doesn't have as big a setup as this. It probably rivals most prisons too. It was crazy! They put some serious money into that system for what looked like an almost empty motel devoid of guests. My wife & I were traveling thru & just needed a bed for the night so for the cheap price, it was ok. Just don't set your expectations too high for a $61 room.

Usually it's a pretty decent stay but the room I was given this time had roaches and before long after sitting on the bed I was killing bed bugs that were crawling on me. Next time I'm staying somewhere else
